watching games online

as the season approaches, not unlike seasons past, football, both college and pro will get minimal coverage in our fair nation.

its not as grim as you might think, sports fans... the internet is more than just a way to watch porn and download music, many sites stream live games and in this thread we share the many ways one can potentially watch their favourite team for free every week... unless youre a broncos fan, in which case, its probably best you wait til 2010.

for starters, justin.tv and ustream.com were great last season, with very little and only occasional lag and zero dropouts all season long.

ive also heard of a few sites that offer games for download shortly after they air, many commercial free and others interruption free (ie, once the whistle blows on a play, it picks things back up on the very next snap).

I miss seeing games on sbs! I have no problem watching live streams you know if the same can be done with the soccer worldcup why not the NFL here in AUS.

But i probably will upgrade my foxtel just for convenience sake!

if you have sports with your foxtel package, espn360 has most college games on demand free.

Well as you said to each their own but I refuse to pay to watch NCAA or the NFL when it's free to air. I didn't pay to watch it when I lived there and am not gonna pay to watch it here. You can't pay to watch College anyway being overseas in Australia and that's mostly what I use it 4 anyway as I work M-F.

I can't see the point in trying to find an 'average' quality free stream website to view the game when the NFL Game Pass is such exceptional quality for a fantastic price. Is US$70 really too much for a full year of viewing?

If you want to watch all the sports from around the world you can use this site. Please follow the rules tho as they will ban you from the forums which in turn means you can't see links for the games. I have been using it for 2 years and no dramas what so ever!

True. But having a digital copy of a game is do damn convenient though.

NFL Shortcuts...how good are they? Totally changed my NFL viewing..

just finished watching bills/oilers (titans) on justin.tv, slightest of delays on the audio but otherwise flawless... great to see the old afl kits, even the refs wore throwbacks.
