You can find their details on the Gridiron Australia website under Aussie Alumni.

Hawaii (Adrian Thomas OT) defeated by #5 Florida 56-10. Adrian Thomas was in on a successful field goal in the fourth quarter. Next opponent Weber State @ home. Likely will play significant playing time in the second half.

#14 Kansas (Nathan D'Cunha OT) defeated Florida International 40-10. Next opponent Louisiana Tech @ home.

Marshall (Stuart Lips SS) defeated Illinois State 35-10. Next opponent @ #11 Wisconcin.

RE: Keeping in touch

Stuart Lips and the Marshall Thundering Herd are coming off a great win at Tulane 31-10 and have to play on the road again at West Virginia.

Adrian Thomas was injured at practice going into the Warrior's game at home to Fresno State and had to come out at half time, despite making his second start and playing very well. The Warriors fell to their third straight defeat and take on the Idaho Vandals in Moscow, Idaho this week. Its unclear yet if Adrian will be well enough to make the trip, the injury to his back is undiagnosed.

RE: Keeping in touch

The Marshall Thundering Herd went down to last year's Conference USA Champi, East Carolina 21-17. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter. Stuart Lips started on kick off coverage, reports being quite banged up right now, ankle and back but soldiering on with the help of the medical staff. Light practice this week, the Thundering Herd will play at Tulane this week.

The Hawaii Warriors lost badly last week against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Their defense could not stop the run and lost 27-6. Adrian Thomas started and played well throughout, coaches were very pleased. He will make his second start at right tackle this week against Fresno State. Last week's game also marks the first time in history that two Australians have played on the same field at the same time as punter Alex Dunnachie an Aussie Rules convert from Victoria continued in his freshman season. Adrian was in blocking for him during his 5 punts.

RE: Keeping in touch

I got out of the habit of updating this last year, sorry about that.

Quick updates...

Stuart Lips is still at Marshall and starting on kick off and is the back up strong safety. I will try to have some photos of him uploaded onto the GA website shortly.

Nathan D'Cunha has transfered from Kansas to a Div 2 school but unfortunately due to the ever present academic hurdles he is unable to play football there after originally being told he could. He will return to Australia early next year. Sounds like he got a tough break.

Adrian Thomas is starting today in Hawai'i's mid week game against Louisiana Tech. The Senior starting Right Tackle injured himself at practice and could be out for up to a month. The game can be streamed live on www.channelsurfing.net at 10am.

RE: Keeping in touch

Olderdan,

Stuart Lips is hovering between the practice squad and third string at Marshall. Looking to make an impact on special teams to start off with.

Nathan had a shoulder injury in Fall camp and but is now back and entrenched on the second team but my info here is a few weeks old. The two starting offensive tackles for Kansas are Sophomores so his playing time may depend on injury or serious drops in form. I will find out what sort of game time he is getting.

Adrian headed off to Oakland today to prep for the Fresno State game. The Warriors have struggled replacing their starting Qb and 4 Wr's. The offense is not scoring and instead turning the ball over. Adrian is the #2 Right tackle and has been in on PAT this year but without any blow out victories he hasn't seen playing time yet. The numer #1 Right Tackle is a Senior so he is positioning himself for that spot as a Junior and Senior next year.

RE: Keeping in touch

Hawk,

The scores are all fine and dandy, but we can get those on ESPN.com.
