So its that time of year again and if last year was anything to go by then this year could bring GV another great year of junior football.
Plenty of new players in the ranks all over the league.

Many new people stepping into coaching roles this year i believe.
Lets hope they have all been qualified.

So.....What are the teams looking like at this stage of pre-season?
Less than 2 weeks to go.

Have the new rule changes (U/19 to U/18) affected any of the teams in recruiting?

Who is doing the coaching at each of the teams?

What are numbers like?

Lets get this forum going..............feel free to add your thoughts.

Its Axin time!!!

I think the loss of size, due to the new age restrictions is echoed across the league this year. Maybe with a few exceptions.
The Bucs also lost quite a few due to the new age rule but because of a successful 2006 season have reaped the rewards in recruitment.
Are getting about 30-35 to training.
Still have some excellent returning players from previous years, but only time will tell how each team will go.

So it seems like reasonable number across the league, i hear Crusaders have had ridiculous number, some where in the 40s.
Rangers seem solid as with the Seahawks with 20 is numbers.
Miners are down a little in numbers after losing many players due to age rule.
And where oh where are the Warriors?
All is quiet on the Monash front.
Hows things happening up that way?
