| | Numbers have been solid for the warriors so far, around 25 has been a standard turn out. We have solid core of players to build a good season around. The return of alot of players at key postions has given us alot of support in developing the rookie talent thats come through this year. However like the rest of the league big bodies are not in surplus, this is more than made up for by the amount of speed on the team. Looks like it could be a very different junior season this year brought about the change in age requierments. Either way we are all looking forward to what will hopefully be a season of junior football. |

| | actually the miners changed a lot from last year a whole new coaching staff, new offense co-ordinator and assistants, defense same thing.... and even though runors say we dont have numbers or size... i dissagree are having a steady 25-35 players at paractice... and all i can say if no other teams have size, i feel sorry for you guys cause the miners are bigger than last year probally... we have a big influx of saman and rugby players that have spread our defense and brought power and speed to runningback... but i guess well see first game.... our o-line are all returning players.. 2 from seniors, a new qb but was the league's mvp last year... faster running back with power, decent wr who can catch... defense has only 4 returning players but one played seniors, he will anchor the mlb spot. good safety and olb returning and with the new defensive players already doing damage to our offense in scrimmage, i can see them terriorising the league.... so sorry to dissapoint the league but where bigger, stronger, faster and have a big chip on our shoulders from loosing the grand final!!! so only time will tell

| | Hey all i guess time will tell wont it. Feel sorry for the teams that are lacking size. Seahawks get at least 20 - 25 at training with some Big guys back from last year. Strong rugby presence and good offensive playbook will hopefully make for a good season. See you all on the 30th Puppy #15

| And where oh where are the Warriors?
All is quiet on the Monash front.
Hows things happening up that way?
Marty - I'm just keeping our secret weapons and new offense close to the vest - I wouldn't want to give anything away just yet now would I? |

| | miners lost to bucs 20-8 the bucs really came out firing, it took us miners until second half to fire up. but us miners arnt going to use the excuss of we had to wake up at 6am, but for our first game, also missing about 10players including a RB nd some o-linemen. miners will be a team in progress

| | From the Bucs' own website - The Buccs kept the pressure on the predicatable Miners and with 2 more scores to Sam Bourke, one a 30 yard TD reception and one TD on the ground, the Buccs led 20-0 at half time. The score could have got out of hand in the first half if not for some penalties bringing plays back that would have led to TD's Predictable Miners? Wow - early smack talk huh? |
