It doesn't matter if has an awful year there, He's only gonna be remembered as the one of the greatest and THE most durable player of all time, regardless of what happens in New York. Case in point:Nobody remembers Joe Namath reinventing the art of falling over for 12 games at the LA Rams, he's the guy that guaranteed the then AFL's first Superbowl win against an NFL team that was vastly superior, and then pulled it off. Nobody remembers Johnny Unitas wandering around in a powder blue uniform in San Diego, he's the Colt that won NFL Champioships. Nothing the Favre does at the Jets will diminish his legacy as the only 3-time NFL MVP who played 275 games in a row, and won a Superbowl.
'You know if you take all the things I've accomplished in my life and condense them down into one day, it looks decent!'

If Favre had done it quietly, you might be right - but he didn't. he did it kicking and screaming, retiring then unretiring (twice technically!), not to mention that the number of Favre supporters are almost equal to the number of Favre detractors now, with all the talk of interceptions and bad playing he's done recently. People remember those guys who hung on too long and tarnished their reputations - they just choose to remember only the good stuff. Emmitt Smith in Arizona? Jerry Rice in Seattle, the CUT by Denver? Or switching sports - Michael Jordan in WASHINGTON??!! The pressure is on Favre now to produce, and when he doesn't, he's going to look like a complete jackass for pulling all this crap just to stink it up for the Jets.

And now he has to play against New England twice. He will embarrass himself this year...

Fluke. Arizona doesn't exactly have a great pass defense. Great game by Farve, but lets see what he does against the rest of the AFC
