I just want a show of interest of who would be willing to play in a free entry, no prize (for now) flag football tournament. Held in Croydon. most probably. or around there, on saturdays (mainly cause i have to transportation.)
It will be 7 a side, limited downs for length of entire field (undecided on field size thinking 1/2 sizish) blocks to shoulders behind L.O.S only, all men eligible, 5 seconds before blitz, No QB runs (unless handed off first)
something like that anyway.
all comments welcomed
This is not cement so dont have a hissy fit.

great initiative, is this during the senior comp or after it?

like i half explained, its just a bit of fun on the side,
no set dates and details yet,
im just looking for a show of interest to see if i can get it up smoothly.

at a guess it would be in the senior off season.
maybe even 2 confrences
east/west
so the buccs boys can get a piece of the action.

Sounds great Warriors are keen to run a spring flag comp from Monash Uni, so with this in mind we would in principal provide 2 teams.
I believe GV has this on the agenda and has asked for feedback from teams about this spring flag competition at Monday's meeting.
Great work, hopefully we can get every GV team on board and have a fully functional, GV sanctioned Flag competion going in October...WOOT!

Yeah cause i was thinking that this would get more people interested in the game, seeing as it would be cheaper and eaiser on their bodies. which might blood more people into the sport.
