That's not as ridiculous as it sounds. I remember running clinics at some Primary and Secondary Schools a few years ago and the chicks wiped the floor with the guys.

In fact I remember one girl throwing a 35 yard bomb for a TD to another girl playing TE. I was laughing my *** off the rest of the day.Laugh

'You know if you take all the things I've accomplished in my life and condense them down into one day, it looks decent!'

Did this Flag football thing ever happen?

Would consider coming out of retirement and toasting some CBs...

this is funny, cos I was just talking to Gary Wilson the other day about starting a league in Lara (near Geelong) around october.

We had a strong league for a few years that got 40 odd people each week, but became too big for only 2 people to run and kinda died off, but we expect to be able to get that up and running again with GV's support.

...Unfortunately, I doubt many people would be willing to travel from Croydon, Berwick or Frankston to attend something where you dont get to hit someone, so it may just be a Geelong thing. Hopefully, if we get a good enough response, we can spread it and create more leagues with an aim of increasing awareness of the sport of gridiron and hopefully gain some new players.

The Buccs have over the last 2-3 yrs picked up at least 5 players from our old little league, who knows what It could achieve with more effort.

My side of town, keep me informed. Is there an age limit?

I'm talking old, not young.
