Vick has signed with the Eagles. 1 year deal worth approx $1.6M with a team option for a second season for $5M.Given they have McNabb, would you risk fan backlash for that kind of money?

just watched a news conference on espn, turns out it was mcnabbs idea. so, yeah... not expecting much backlash unless he totally blows.

Eagles forums are split 50/50 on the Vick signing. McNabb wanted Vick to go to Syracuse during their college days, more as a RB/WR and returner than QB. Opens up huge offense options, variations on the wildcat etc. Can't wait till after week 6 when he is officially re-instated!

Vick 4 from 4 was good, looked more settled in the pocket. With the way the crowd went nuts I guess he'll get sometime, espically with the wilcat offence with either him or McNabb in the slot like they ran.Very promising for them this year...

Goodell gave Vick a 2 game suspension, meaning he is free to play in week 3.Goodell said in a press release he was impressed with Vick since he was signed to Philly and that mentor Tony Dungy had very positive remarks regarding Vick's improved personality. Good for the Eagles, bad news for the rest of the NFC East. Now they can concentrate on getting those Wild Cat formation working

"Peace, Phillips, and Vick agreed to the killing of approximately 6-8 dogs that did not perform well in 'testing' sessions at 1915 Moonlight Road and all of those dogs were killed by various methods, including hanging and drowning. Vick agrees and stipulates that these dogs all died as a result of the collective efforts of Peace, Phillips and Vick."
I can't get over the fact that this guy killed 6-8 dogs himself. He physically drowned dogs cause they were too gentle? wtf!
The image of that just...oh I hate this guy.
I wouldn't be upset if this guy is badly injured.

Every one has their own opinion about this, just like Ray Lewis' involvement in a shooting a few years back!
