Just throwing it out there. Who would be interested in playing another All star game. There was one played in 2006 and I'm all for it too happen again.
Last time it was the buccs, rangers and crusaders vs Warriors, Miners and Seahawks.

Good idea.
I notice that all the other leagues in Australia play their season at the same time as the NFL/College.
With interest in the sport growing every year thanks to Aussies competing in the NFL and the likes of OneHD, an All-Star game later in the year would enable us to capitalise on the heightened exposure.
Plus I wouldn't get picked so I don't need to worry about staying fit*.
* By fit I mean "relatively"

The idea of an all-star game has been floated in recent years but never really had a champion behind it. Ballarat has been asking for a scrimmage/exhibition game up there to promote their expansion efforts. An all-star game would be a good opportunity to kill multiple birds with one stone. There's two ways to do it:1: Take the All-Vic team named later on in the week, plus a couple of extras for back-ups and play the equivalent of an intra-squad scrimmage. 2: Mesh multiple team offensive/defensive starters together like what was done in the past. Option 1 is the easiest becuase it requres less planning/coaching (not having to skill up two offensive /defensive units), plus it can probably be done by the current state team staffs. Option 2 would be the most fun because so many people would be involved - plus it would probably be more entertaining to watch. A considerable amount of practice time though would be required just to get this to a watchable point. The idea has merit, now all someone has to do is go about making it happen!
