Hi guys,thought i'd start up a specific SA Fire thread. To start with, in an attempt to raise funds for the State Team, I have tentatively organised a State Team Superbowl Party at the Adelaide Casino Balcony Bar for Monday the 8th of February. We need a minimum of 100 guests to get the venue, so i'm counting on everyone to do their best to get other players/friends/family/people off the street to buy tickets. Cost is $30 and it gets you a light breakfast (bacon'n'egg muffins and ham & cheese croissants), drink specials during the game and the Casino's All-you-can-eat Buffet Lunch afterwards. There will be raffles, and sweeps during the game, so please get onto asking everyone if they can make it. PM me if you have any questions!

URGENT!!!!
Training for tomorrow (Sunday 10th January) has been cancelled due to the extreme heat forcasted.
Please pass the word around.
Training for Tuesday will go ahead at 7.

There are no details for anything on the website about the state team!
Cardiff Mets - Tiger Bay Warriors - London O's - Cardiff Cobras - South Wales Warriors - Southern Oilers...guess it's reffing next

Sedge is so disorganised that he could not find a whore in a brothel. As a result the President has done bugger all once again for the website for the state team. We dont even know who the coaching staff is. On a side note when is the All Star dinner? Or has the league decided to do without it as it was too much effort.

surprise surprise.... people are happy to sit back and take pot shots at club/league committee members for 'not doing anything', yet are unwilling to offer to help.How about instead of 'sitting back' you get off your lazy *** and help! If you aren't willing to do that, then you have no right to bag the very few people who actually put their hands up and do things for the league.

most chairmen dont have to organise state teams, dinners and everything else so lets get some hands up to help!If you've got the time to come on here and post garbage maybe you should get involved in something constructive and give people a chance to tell you how you should do things!! And maybe put your real name out there instead of hiding, or would you like me to do it for you?  that might make things interesting, last warning

Just because details have not been posted on website doesn't. Mean the State program is not headed in the right direction. Currently the boys are working hard towards National Championships with a Coaching Staff in place.

Wow... Towering Inferno, I'm not even on the State Team, yet I feel overwhelmed with your support and love for our League and State team! ...Not!
Although I hate being trolled, I hate the fact that once again, you're showing us that there are STILL so many people willing to sit on the couch (or behind their keyboards) and throw popcorn at the screen that is the reality show, "GASA".
Reality is, Sedge has no need for a whore or a brothel, but he does need help with GASA related things sometimes. The very same people that have been doing ALL of the work for GASA for years to keep it running ARE STILL DOING IT ALL, BY THEMSELVES... Sedge is just one of them.
The other reality is that Sedge has a life, believe it or not. A job, wife, home... same as most of us. He then also spends his spare time keeping GASA running for us. So if he hasn't updated a stupid website so you can once again go click click and get your information served to you on a plate with minimal effort, then bad luck. Luckily they're concentrating on more important things, like trainings, etc. If you were IN the State Team, or even remotely & genuinely interested in the team, you make an effort to find out WTF is going on with it. As I said earlier, I'm not even on the team & it seems I know more about it than you do. Why, because I made an effort to find out. The team is already training, we have coaches and the boys are fired up (pardon the pun) to go over and wreak some havoc interstate.
I'm not defending Sedge FOR Sedge, as he's more than capable of eloquently rebutting your insensitive, useless post all by himself... but I am defending the principles behind your attack. If there's a problem within the organisational structure of either GASA or the State Team and you believe you know a positive, constructive way to fix it, then either: A: Positively and constructively suggest it, or B: Offer to do it yourself to help the team out.
Otherwise stop your whining, stay sitting down in your comfy chair ffs and relax. Let the State Team do it's thing...
Enough said.
