The Sydney Uni website (www.sydneyunigridiron.com) has all the results and a table on the "Gridiron NSW Colts Table & Results" link on the Cubs page.  This will be updated throughout the season with all the results from the weekend by Saturday evening.

Hello All

So after 2 weeks of competition how is each club traveling?

Any word on who the power houses are this year? I have seen some results but i don't know how much of an indicator that is.

G'day,

Can anyone tell me how the  Wolverines went against the USA Teams?

Did they hold their own?

What an awesome opportunity for the players and Gridiron NSW to promote Junior gridiron and build up some quality networks in the USA.

Did we get a good crowd to the game?

I didnt see the first game but I officiated the second game, 34-0 to the USA (although I can't remember if I recorded the final USA score due to the way the game ended, which would have made it 40-0 or 42-0). From verbal reports both games were similar in that way.

Very tough for the NSW team on offense it seemed, a few turnovers and long yardage from bad center to QB exchange. Defensively there were some bright spots and the team was not embarrassed in that respect. I think the games served to expose the players to a higher level of play no doubt.

Unfortunately, the disgraceful end to the game in many ways cast a terrible shadow over what should have been a very positive effort. Unsportsmanlike conduct by a NSW player, coaches on the field, sidelines clearing, one of the worst things I've seen on a football field.
